Whats on in Pewsey Gallery
[+ go back...]
Pewsey Gallery are displaying the entries to their 3rd annual A4 Art Competition during February. Artists from around Wiltshire and the local area have submitted pictures no larger than A4 on the theme of Light and Dark. Just to add to the fun, none of the pictures are signed on the front, and every visitor to the Gallery is asked to vote on their two favourite pictures, based on artistic merit alone. The pictures can be bought too, for £30 each.
Any aspiring artist over 16 years can take part for the cost of a £10 frame. Last year there were over 50 entries in a huge range of styles and media. Why not come along and judge this year's entry for yourself? You don't have to be a master artist, or even an artist at all - you just have to know what you like!
Also in February, the Gallery will be hosting an exhibition of arts and crafts made by local people with Alzheimers.
